Long Bio
Currently based in New Jersey, Raquel Ramos is a New York native of Puerto Rican heritage.
Her musical influences range from pop, classic soul, freestyle, and Latin, to the wild mix of R&B, hip-hop, and alternative rock that dominated the nineties.
Raquel has independently released two albums (the first, Unzipping the Mermaid, under the artist name Sirena Sol, followed by West Side Butter Pecan Life), as well as a handful of singles.
Raquel is currently working on a new single called “Back in Queens,” which captures the Gen-X nostalgia of being young before the world burned down.
